Hey, long time no see~! ...Well, it's not like I was actually gone or anything, but you know. XD

Today is June 23 and that means a few things: It's Sonic the Hedgehog's Anniversary (And for 2019, it's his 28th Anniversary). Yaaaay~ lol

Today also means it's my the in-universe Birthday of my OC, Rokku Akihiro~ Yippie~

And finally, today is (technically) the 5th Anniversary of my fan fic, Mega Man Neo...or rather publishing MMZX Fan Fics~ You won't find the original post because I deleted it long ago, but I originally posted Mega Man Neo's initial fic, Mega Man ZX Chronicles, on this date, but I got rid of it and reuploaded a new version months later (instead of, y'know, just replacing the original chapters. X'D Young me was not very sharp lol). That is where Rokku originated from and since then he has branched out on his new adventure via Mega Man Neo alongside his new partner, Shade. These two mean a great deal to me and serve as huge motivation to keep writing...because I love this two so veeeery much~

But with that said, that leads to my announcement: I'll be rewriting/revamping Mega Man Neo. XP

As I look back at what I've written, I realize I could do a lot better and make things more...consistent and comprehensible. This might be a puzzling decision to most, but I personally feel a "reboot" is needed. After all, if I have to go back and "remaster" my old chapters, that, to me, might be a problem.

This won't be a simple "remaster" like before. No, there will be some changes. Some small, some drastic. I won't tell EVERY change, but I'll speak on the more "important" ones:

A somewhat drastic change is Rokku's age now being raised to 15 and that means he'll need a small redesign in the clothes department. lol With his age being 15, some characters' ages will also be raised slightly (But Shade's will not).

A major change is the setting of Mega Man Neo. As I have stated from the very beginning, MMN is an AU of the ZX series. AU means "Alternate Universe". Originally, MMN fit in somewhat-sorta nicely between ZX and ZX Advent; taking place shortly after the events of ZX. However, for the rewrite, Mega Man Neo will now take place 10 years after the events of ZX Advent. That's right. You are not being deceived here. With this new setting, I intend to have MMN focus on a "new generation" cast, with Rokku (more-or-less) leading that generation. With the new generation comes a new storyline too, as do all new generation stories go (i.e. the Street Fighter III series...that's literally subtitled "New Generation" XD).

This also means that Rokku is no longer around the age of Vent & Aile (who were 14 in my fics); they are now approx. 28 years old (but don't expect them to appear for a long time). Oh, and the setting will be Japan instead of Europe (but Rokku was still raised there) in a fictional setting known as Shin Massao City. More information will come once the Prologue and Chapter 1 are released~

I don't have a true visual on Rokku's new 15 year old look (as in art specifically dedicated to him and representing the story he stars in), buuut I do have these drawings that pretty much matches his somewhat older look! XD

This wasn't an easy decision to make; both on the change of setting and simply revamping the story, but I feel it is necessary. I am older now and I have more experience that I can use to make a better narrative. But don't worry, I won't be getting rid of my previous version of MMN! The views show that people are looking at them and maybe reading them! I can't just delete them! lol I'll simply mark them as OLD and move on~

I actually intended to have a Prologue and Chapter 1 to present to you guys on this day, buuuut... I'm not quite ready yet. ^_^U Rushing my work is a big no-no and I already have a bad habit doing that with holiday themed stories. lol (*looks at the 4 VALENTINE DAY STORIES*)  I want to give you guys quality stuff. Aside from that, I also have a life. In the coming months, I'll be going back to school (sorta) so I can work in IT Support. It'll be fun~ (hopefully XD)

I thank everyone who has read my Mega Man Neo works and I hope you can look forward to the revamped story in the future! I'm aiming to get it out sometime in July but if not, then definitely before Summer ends!
